There seems to be a lot of talk these days about what is fair, and what is not.
Do you think that life should be fair ? Yes, it would be very nice if it was. But, I’m afraid it isn’t. One of the reasons I think of this is because of my Epilepsy. I am the only one in my family with it. I sometimes think that it isn’t fair.
If I have it , why don’t my brother or sister have it as well. But, never mind. That’s the way it is. I’d never wish Epilepsy upon anyone.
Often we hear of someone well known by the public having the likes of cancer. These are often people that have be a huge asset to society. So, why should they have to deal with it.Why not others that have been nothing but a hindrance ? Does that sound harsh ?
I’m sure there are others that may have thoughts similar to that.
Whenever one decides that something isn’t fair, the best thing to do is accept it and move on. We all know that feeling sorry for ourselves doesn’t get us anywhere. Whatever your situation or circumstances may be, you may as well just try and do the best you can.You never know. Maybe you will do very well !!
It isn’t life’s job to have everything perfect. Everyone has different strengths & challenges. We are all dealt a different hand.
That fact that life isn’t fair doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do everything in our power to improve our lives. I think it suggests we should. It should add to one’s motivation. Just think how good it will feel to make those achievements with whatever difficulties you may have.
Imagine a world where everyone’s life was exactly the same. That would be pretty boring wouldn’t it ?
So, no matter what life throws at you, no matter how unfair it seems, don’t play the victim. Don’t be ruled by negativity. Be strong and work through whatever life throws at you. Try and keep moving forward. When you take these sort of things on, it will help you realise you are a lot stronger than you think.
So, you are capable of achieving a lot more than you believe.
