Travel …Where Shall We Travel ?

When you were a child, from the day you were born and throughout your teenage years, you may have traveled internationally. Maybe in your late teens, early twenties, you spent a few years away from home. Did you Back Pack? , do an OE? (Overseas Experience) You may have never left your home country at all. This may be the reason why you have an interest in the travel industry and the possibilities of an international travel business. Maybe you want to get out and see what you are yet to see? So, where around the world would you go?

A lot of people want to travel to Europe. Europe is the planets 6th largest continent, which includes 47 countries; islands & dependencies. There are buildings such as Buckingham Palace that have been there for centuries.

North America is the planets 3rd largest continent, which includes 23 countries. For example, the United States of America, Canada, Mexico, and Greenland. The United States of America is a place many hear about on a regular basis, due to their size, population and influence on the rest of the world.

For example, issues such as the presidential race or the U.S economy.

Where in the U.S would you like to visit?

New York always springs to mind. Las Vegas is also a popular location.

Although Australia also meets the definition of an island (a piece of land surrounded by water), it is large enough to be considered its own continent.

So…Greenland is the world’s largest island. 840,000 square miles (2,175,590 km2)

The planets 4th largest continent is South America. South America contains 12 independent countries such as Argentina, Brazil and Peru. The continent also contains the world’s highest waterfall, Angel Falls in Venezuela and the largest river, the Amazon River. South America also has the longest mountain range, the Andes, and the driest place on earth, the Atacama Desert in Chile.

Also, it includes the very well known largest Rainforest, the Amazon Rainforest.

The largest continent in the world with the greatest population of over 3.8 billion is Asia.

This is about 60% of the world’s current human population.

You then go on to OCEANIA. This is the planets smallest group.

The main country here is Australia.

Other countries include New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

There are also many other islands in the South Pacific.

These are very popular travel locations. Eg: Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, Cook Islands, Tahiti & Vanuatu.

So, when it comes to International Travel, THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER!!
